RECREATION SUPERINTENDENT

DEFINITION

Under general direction of the Recreation Manager or designee to plan, organize, promote, budget, schedule, direct, evaluate and coordinates assigned City Recreation services and programs with a primary emphasis on recreation, sports and cultural arts. This individual will supervise and provide in-service training for full-time, paid seasonal and part-time personnel and volunteers. Incumbent also coordinates and oversees work performed by less experienced personnel as assigned.
