Maintenance crews participated in this year's Stanislaus County Occupational Olympics and Career Exposition. The event promotes academic and occupational understanding in various career areas. Our maintenance crews were there to interact with the kids and provide information about career opportunities with the City of Turlock and provide an understanding of what all we are responsible for. Some of the kids even filled out interest cards for potential work with the Parks, Recreation & Public Facilities Department.

A HUGE thank you to the Sikh Community of Turlock for their amazing work this past weekend at the City’s first Adopt-A-Park Volunteer Clean-Up Day!
Volunteers filled 2 large dump trailers with debris, cleaned the park, painted benches and tables, cleaned and painted graffiti, disinfected the playgrounds, raked the lake, did some trimming on some of the trees. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to Donnelly Park!
