Fire Hydrant Use Permit

If you are a contractor doing work within Turlock and need to pull water from a fire hydrant, you would need to come into the Municipal Services Department and fill out a Hydrant Use Permit. This permit is good for 6 months and requires a $2,471 deposit for the meter paid by cash or check only. The deposit will be refunded, less the amount for water used, upon return of the meter in good condition. The fee for actual usage is $1.93/1000 gallons with a minimum charge of $21.50."
