A critical part of any City is the reliable operation of its vehicles. From maintenance vehicles to emergency vehicles to mass transit, reliable transportation is a must for an efficient operation. With its six full time employees and one part-time employee, Fleet Maintenance provides supports for the vast number of City vehicles, ranging from golf-carts to cars, trucks, trailers and tractors.

Successfully maintaining more than 470 vehicles in the City's fleet is a daunting task. However, through the aggressive deployment of a CMMS management solution, fleet maintenance manages to do just that.

Fleet maintenance uses CMMS to schedule maintenance, keep track of problem history and identify trends. As a result, fleet maintenance has been able to provide Municipal Services with an exact view of a car's history. This capability allows Municipal Services to identify cars with a poor service record and take corrective action.
