CARR'S CLEANERS

Carr's has always strived to be a leader in technology and innovation in the dry cleaning industry. Their recent switch to professional wet cleaning is just one more example of how Carr’s Cleaners is always looking to improve their business and offer a better product to their customers.

Professional Wet Cleaning is a non-toxic, environmentally safe alternative to traditional dry cleaning. The use of computer controlled washing machines, moisture sensing dryers, biodegradable soaps, softeners and conditioners, and specialized pressing equipment makes this process safe for virtually all fabric and fiber types.

According to the Cal/EPA and the California Air Resources Board, there are only two cleaning methods considered non-toxic and non-smog forming. Professional wet cleaning is one method and the other is liquid CO2 cleaning. Carr’s is the only cleaners for at least 60 miles to utilize one or both of these methods exclusively.

In 2000, Chad and Trista Boucher purchased the business from Chad’s parents Harry and Sandy Boucher. They operate two locations in Turlock and one in Atwater. They also offer a home and office pick-up and delivery route in the Turlock area and a carpet and upholstery cleaning division.
