Art Exhibitions
The Turlock City Arts Commission sponsors exhibitions of visual art in all media on a year-round basis at the gallery inside Turlock City Hall and at other locations. Until a new arts center is constructed, the TCAC will be coordinating exhibitions where possible in partnership with other community agencies and venues.
Highlights of the annual exhibition schedule have included:
The Annual Spring Juried Art Show and Sale: open to entries from a six county area, works are selected for showing by a panel of judges and cash prizes are awarded in several categories.
Regional High School Art Show: an end-of-the-school-year celebration of the talents of high school students from Turlock, Modesto, and surrounding communities.
Turlock City Hall 2nd Floor Gallery
At the Turlock City Hall 2nd Floor Gallery the TCAC presents changing exhibitions each quarter.
This space provides local artists with a venue to display their work on an invitational basis.
These exhibitions bring high quality art to the public in a very accessible manner and beautify the interior
of City Hall for everyone’s benefit. Artists who live in Turlock or the surrounding communities may submit
slides to the TCAC Gallery Committee during the annual review period, and they may be selected for one person
or group shows.
