Printed copies of the plans and specifications may also be purchased by written request to, or in-person at, the Office of the City Engineer. Contact information is shown to the right. Any applicable shipping charges are in addition to the stated cost. Payment for printed plans and specifications are non-refundable; check or cash only.

The California Department of Transportation is offering, through the California Construction Contracting Program (CCCP), free training, counseling, and resources in order to assist small businesses to successfully bid and win Caltrans and Local agency construction contracts.

The work consists, in general, of: Best Management Practices (BMP's), saw cutting, removal of existing improvements, dig out sewer line trench, earthwork, install curb return, install curb and gutter, cross gutter reconstruct, aggregate base, hot mix asphalt, crack seal, striping and furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals needed to perform the improvements as shown on the contract plans complete and in place. This work shall be completed in accordance with the Standard Specifications, standard Drawings and these Special Provisions.

The work consists, in general, of: Removal of existing improvements, install (1) 13 SEER 3-ton condensing unit and coil or approved equal, install (1) 45,000 BTU 80% up flow furnace with setback thermostat, shop to fab and install duct connector from the coil to the duct plenum, reconnect to the existing duct work, gas line, refrigerant lines, flue pipe, line and low voltage wiring, install condensate pump and drain line to the roof, connect the existing condensate pump to HVAC (South unit), modify the stand to match new condensing unit, supply crane to set new unit, supply HERS Rater duct test, and furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals needed to perform the improvements as shown on the contract plans complete and in place. This work shall be completed in accordance with the Standard Specifications, standard Drawings and these Special Provisions. Mandatory pre-meeting at the Rube Boesch Center located at 275 North Orange Street on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 am.
